Description

The Grand Tasting brings the Boulder Burgundy Festival to a spectacular conclusion with an afternoon devoted to the extraordinary diversity of Burgundy. More than 60 wines will be presented, offering guests the opportunity to journey through the region’s celebrated villages, vineyards, producers, and appellations in a single tasting.

From regional and village wines to Premier Cru and Grand Cru, the selection will showcase both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir while highlighting the remarkable differences created by vineyard, vintage, and winemaker. Rather than simply assembling a large collection of bottles, the tasting is designed to encourage exploration and discovery, giving guests the chance to compare wines and terroirs side by side.

With attendance limited to just 80 guests, the Grand Tasting offers an unusually relaxed and personal setting in which to taste Burgundy. Meet knowledgeable importers, distributors, winemakers, and sommeliers while discovering both benchmark domaines and wines that may be entirely new to you.

Throughout the afternoon, enjoy Burgundy from elegant Riedel stemware, accompanied by curated charcuterie and live music from Stone Cottage Studios, transforming the historic Academy Mapleton Hill into an afternoon celebration of wine, food, music, and community.

Whether you are a longtime Burgundy collector or simply captivated by the region, the Grand Tasting offers a rare opportunity to experience the breadth of Burgundy in one place.

More than 60 wines. 80 guests. One unforgettable afternoon in Burgundy.
