Chassagne-Montrachet with Sabine Mollard
Founded in 1919, Domaine Marc Morey is a historic family estate in the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet. Sabine Mollard represents the fourth generation of her family and has directed the domaine since 2008, producing wines distinguished by freshness, precision, depth, and mineral expression.
Through six wines from the 2023 vintage, we will move from village Chassagne-Montrachet through five distinctive Premier Cru vineyards, examining how elevation, exposure, limestone, clay, and soil depth shape Chardonnay across remarkably short distances.
Of particular importance is En Virondot, where Domaine Marc Morey owns nearly the entire Premier Cru climat. Its high elevation, shallow soils, and limestone bedrock make it one of the domaine’s signature and most age-worthy wines.

Volnay with Nicolas Rossignol
We then turn to Volnay and Pinot Noir with Nicolas Rossignol, one of the Côte de Beaune’s superb contemporary producers of red Burgundy.
For this extraordinary comparative tasting, Nicolas will present four Volnay Premier Cru vineyards across two vintages, 2020 and 2022. Tasting the same vineyards from two different years offers a rare opportunity to separate the influence of terroir from vintage and discover the individual personalities of four celebrated Volnay climats.
