We are thrilled to announce that two outstanding producers will be attending the Boulder Burgundy Festival: Virgile Lignier-Michelot and Guillaume d’Angerville. The Flagstaff House is the ideal venue to feature these delicious Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir wines. Virgile is a third-generation producer working the family-owned vines of Morey-St. Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, and Gevrey-Chambertin. Virgile took over for his father starting in 2000. Before that time, the wines were typically sold in barrel to the négoce. With amazing vineyards and passionate dedication to farming and winemaking, the Lignier-Michelot winery is a rising star in Burgundy.

The Flagstaff House team will be working together with the team from The Little Nell in Aspen. Master Sommelier Carlton McCoy will be helping run the wine team for the evening and chef Brian Moscatello will be adding his flair and inspiration to The Flagstaff House kitchen. Virgile and importer Paul Wasserman will be in attendance for the evening while we take a virtual tour through the top villages of Burgundy. We will begin with two white wines from the Wasserman, and follow with a collection of wines from Chambolle and Morey-St. Denis – including two vintages of Clos de la Roche Grand Cru!

We have added the David Phinney Foundation to our list of beneficiaries this year. The Flagstaff House has generously committed to sending a portion of each ticket to the foundation.
